By this time, The Soft Shoe Shufflers have performed all over the state line area from Elizabeth to Crystal Lake and from Milwaukee to Rochelle. We have performed for markets, taverns, restaurants, clubs, fund raisers, churches and private events. We have played in family rooms, on decks, in airplane hangars, back yards and tents. We have performed well over 340 times, in 75 venues and in 25 communities. Below are a few of the comments that we have received in writing. The reaction is always the same. It is always complimentary and positive.

On this day, we played at Downtown Beloit's Lunch in the Park. As we were packing up, a man approached us. It was Lee Greenwood, who wrote and performed the song, “God Bless The USA". He was in Beloit and he had his bus parked near the administration offices of ABC Supply. He has a business partnership with ABC Supply. He happened to be taking a walk during our performance. After he approached, he introduced himself and complimented us as a band. We asked him if he would pose with us for a picture and he said he would be glad to do so. He said he would soon be on Air Force 1 with the President to fly to New York for a memorial service for the 9/11 terrorist attack.
